Welcome to Joyful HandKnits! I'm Joy and I love to Knit and Spin. I buy high quality yarns and knit Cable Beanies, Rolled Brim Hats, Scarves and Infinity Scarves, Women's Casual Socks, Men's Bed Socks, Mesh Market Bags, Little Girl Ponchos and Mommy & Me Hat Sets that can also be used as Photo Props.

I spin Wool fiber into Yarn which I use to knit into Cable Beanies and Rolled Brim Hats. Some of the fiber is a blend of Wool with other fibers, such as Mohair or other fancy fibers. I spin yarn on my Kromski Spinning Wheel. See my "About" section, further down on this page for more on my Spinning process.

I knit everything myself, use high-quality fiber or yarns for all of my items. All are knitted "in the round" (meaning no seams). I live and work in a Smoke-Free home.

I also knit Felt Purses/Handbags that are knitted with Wool/Mohair yarn and then felted in the washing machine, making them shrink into a dense fabric, perfect for a purse.

My Women's Casual Socks have been very popular. They are thick and comfortable and you'll love them! I also have Men's Bed Socks - the perfect "keep his feet warm in bed" sock for the Men in your life or they can be used for those who need loose socks, such as those who have neuropathy in their feet, or for the elderly.

My Ponchos For Little Girls are just the thing for your little daughter or granddaughter or niece, and I have many different colors. Some of them have Eyelash Yarn at the neckline and hemline. So fun! They are all about 16" long and will fit little girls from age 3 to age 8 or 9.

I also have Mesh Market Bags that can be used for many different things: book bags, produce bags, wet swimming clothes bags, etc. They are especially nice when stores no longer use plastic bags and you need reusable bags of your own. My Mesh Market Bags will work great. They don't take up any room and stretch ALOT when you fill them up.

And the Mommy & Me Hat Sets that are fun "just because" or for a gift for the new mother. When your baby outgrows their hat, save it for them to put on their dolly or teddy bear. They make darling Photography Props, or can just make your little one cuter than ever.
